Dear clients!
As usual, before the end of the year, I would like to give you a brief review of the past year and, with our brochure, a preview of what lies ahead.
This year our office was once again more than busy with applications for short-time work support, fixed cost compensation, turnover compensation, compensation according to the Epidemic Act, etc. and most recently with applications for energy cost subsidies. This is an activity that does not actually relate directly to tax consultancy, but with which we have been able to help a great many of our clients. This work has been done in addition to our regular activities, which has occasionally led to delays in the preparation of the financial statements, for which we ask for your understanding.
A number of changes await us in the new year. The abolition of the cold progression, the reintro-duction of the investment allowance, the increase of the basic allowance and the reduction of corporate income tax are just a few examples. You can find more information in the enclosed brochure or in personal discussions with our staff.
There have also been some personnel changes in our office. We have two new babies and congratulate Julia Bauer on the birth of her son and Katrin Wurm on the birth of her daughter.
Since June, we have a new employee in the accounting department in Vienna, Mr. Fadi Ibrahim. In Horn, Mag. Kerstin Kirschenhofer joins our team as a professional trainee and Mag. Brigitte Kratzer as a tax consultant. We would like to congratulate Mag. Kirschenhofer on completing her studies. Mrs. Denise Berner joined the team of the payroll department in Horn in September.
Of course, we were particularly busy this year with the relocation of our office in Horn.
After almost 20 years, we have moved into a new building. Although some furnishings are still missing, we have already received a lot of positive feedback from our staff and clients.
As usual, we are foregoing Christmas gifts this year and donating the amount earmarked for this purpose to non-profit and charitable organisations.
